| More Blessings
There are many times in life when God says, "Trust me, it will work out in good time." Often, during those time, trust becomes really really hard, and nerves and anxiousness begin to take over as God waits until the very last minute to provide. Those can be times of great times of spiritual growth.
But then there are those times, when you have settled in for the long haul, expecting to live in uncertainty while learning to trust, and all of a sudden God says, "The wait is over; the blessings are here". Its in times like these that you remember the vastness of God's goodness and marvel at His love for you.
Now would be one of those times. God has overwhelmed me with blessings lately, taking each and every one of my fears and showing me that He is in control.
Fear #1: That Jacob would not have a job by the time we got married.
God's Solution: Jacob's Job which he started right away! Fear #2: That I would have to commute an hour each way every day in my 16 year old tank of a car.
God's Solution: My adorable new car! (its actually white) Fear #3: That Jacob and I would have no place to live in July.
God's Solution: Allowing us to sign a lease on the most beautiful (two story!!) apartment in all of the Eastern Shore, complete with fireplace, hardwood floors, and wonderful neighbors!
God is Ridiculously Good.

| As of today Jacob and I have been dating for exactly one year. On February 14, 2006 Jacob and my Dad had there first talk and Jacob got his permission to us to date/court/whatever you want to call it. Just under ten months later, they sat down to talk again, this time for a little bit longer. And Jacob got permission to ask to marry me (though dad warned him I may not say yes). 10 months and one week from when we started dating, he proposed. (and I did, in fact, say yes)
Exactly 5 months from today Jacob and I will get married. Its going to be fantastic. He is going to be a super-amazing husband. I can't wait.
Jacob and I have been incredibly blessed. Our wedding plans have been interspersed with so many gifts and blessings, and complications working themselves out, it has been almost unbelievable. Blessings include but are not limited to the following:
- Our date being available at the church (July 14th - don't be out of town!)
- Having to pick between two talented photographers, both of whom have made us unbelivably affordable offers
- Having two home churches both of whom have been wonderfully supportive
- Having the best family ever who have instantly welcomed Jacob into the family
- Finding my wedding dress for $99
- Someone offering to do the rehearsal dinner for us as a gift
- Doing my taxes and expecting a sweet refund
- Jacob having a job interview this Friday (please be praying)
- Randomly winning a sweet bridal package drawing (which included a couple of nights in a hotel to be added to our honeymoon, and some super-sweet gifts cards)
Its been a wonderful year! Its going to be a great 5 months! And an incredible life time!

| Jacob and I are engaged!
As requested, pictures of the bling: (my fiance picked it out himself he went ring shopping a long time ago and I had no idea!)
It's even sparklier in person. It's pretty much the sparkliest thing ever!
Dates, details and things to follow eventually...

Last final finished! This semester went by way too fast. Way way way too fast.
Next semester is my last semester. Exactly 5 months from now I will turn 21. Less than five months from now I will take my last college final ever. 5 months and 6 days from now I will be at the 225th commencement of Washington College - graduating! Ack.
